Camera and product reports

Live camera images used to detect barcodes are processed on the device and are not stored. Users may voluntarily submit two product photographs when reporting an origin: one of the barcode and another of the origin statement. These photographs are compressed, stripped of metadata, stored securely and reviewed before any product record is updated.

Advertising and technical data

The Android application may display advertising through Google AdMob. Depending on the user's consent choices and applicable law, Google may process advertising identifiers and technical device information. The service also applies pseudonymous limits to prevent repeated or abusive product reports.

Retention and contact

Once an administrator accepts or rejects a report, the report record and both photographs are deleted immediately. For an accepted report, only the verified product entry is retained. Users should not include people, documents, location data or unrelated personal information in product photographs.
